Quick Fix

Look ↑. Did you get an annoying message on the Information Bar when you came to this site?!? Let's get rid of that in a safe manner, shall we?

1. Go to Internet Options…

2. Go to the Advanced tab

3. Under Security, check on “Allow active content to run in files on My Computer*”

When you return to this site in Internet Explorer 7 next time, the information bar won't ask you about the ActiveX controls.

Taking this action will allow your machine to utilitze the ActiveX controls that are built into the site. By following the steps above, you are not permitting outsiders to alter any content, only those on your computer. Your computer includes any of the drives (servers) that you connect to as well. For instance, this site resides on the J:\ drive and is therefore considered to be part of "your computer."
